Refund Policy

At eResume.live, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Refund Policy explains when you are eligible for a refund and how to request one.

1. What We Charge For

eResume.live charges ₹14 per PDF download. Building, editing, and previewing your resume is entirely free. You are only charged when you click "Download PDF" and the payment is confirmed.

We also offer Value Packs (bundles of multiple download credits) at discounted rates. Value Pack purchases are non-refundable once any credits from the pack have been used.

2. Eligible Refund Scenarios

You are entitled to a full refund in the following cases:

  • Technical failure: Payment was deducted but the PDF did not generate or was not available for download due to a technical error on our end.
  • Duplicate charge: You were charged more than once for the same download due to a payment processing error.
  • Wrong amount charged: You were charged an amount different from the displayed price.
  • Unauthorised charge: A charge was made on your account without your authorisation.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

  • Successful downloads: Once a PDF has been successfully generated and downloaded, the charge is non-refundable. This applies even if you change your mind or decide to edit your resume further.
  • Dissatisfaction with content: We provide a free preview before payment. Refunds are not provided because you are unhappy with the resume content after downloading.
  • Unused credits: Unused Value Pack credits are non-refundable.
  • Requests after 7 days: Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the transaction date.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email us at eresumeslive@gmail.com with the subject line "Refund Request" and include:

  • Your registered email address or phone number
  • The Razorpay Payment ID (found in your payment confirmation)
  • Date and amount of the transaction
  • Reason for the refund request

We will review your request and respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.

5. Razorpay Payment Processing

All payments on eResume.live are processed by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. Refunds are initiated by us through Razorpay and credited back to your original payment method (UPI, card, or net banking). We do not charge any additional fee for processing refunds.

6. Disputes & Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us directly before raising a dispute or chargeback with your bank. We are committed to resolving all genuine issues fairly and quickly. Raising a chargeback without first contacting us may result in account suspension.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
